.NET Framework 4.5.1 on Developer Machine, .NET Framework 4.5 on Server

Hi,

Where I work, a lot of Developers still use VS2010 and most of our apps target the .NET Framework v4.0.  Many now have VS2012 and .NET Framework v4.5, and we deployed the .NET Framework v4.5 to the Servers, and are converting our projects to target .NET v4.5.

If I install VS2013 and the .NET Framework v4.5.1, but continue to use VS2012 to compile apps locally targeting 4.0 or 4.5 and deploy them to the server only having 4.5, could anything "break"?

This is the only thing holding me back on installing VS2013.

Thanks!
